Young people’s untapped potential to change their environment. However the challenge has always been inadequate recognition of youth as partners but as subjects leading to tokenism representation and support from developing partners. I have always been a part of Malawi’s youth work. Working for Malawi’s first Private radio station, Power 101 FM, hosting two of the country’s top youth focused talk shows led me into activism. I take inspiration from every facet of existence, from sad or shameful moments to challenging or proud moments. In a similar way, I have no one idol, but I look up to many around me. It does not matter what their age, gender or race are - what matters to me are their values, thoughts and actions through which these are upheld. Through TIG I can participate in forums and make friends with youths all over the world. My TIG may even cause a lasting relationship as a single man (hah). I hope to benefit more if I continue to maintain my TIG and I never wish to extinguish my membership.
